let's laugh day

There seems to be little reason for laughter for some people these days. You or a close family member is ill, your job is no longer safe and there is no longer any toilet paper in the supermarket....
Nevertheless, we could celebrate the "Let's Laugh Day" (which is actually scheduled for last week on March 19th) as an opportunity to see the world a little brighter.

In contrast to "World Laughter Day", which is regularly celebrated on the first Sunday in May, today it's not even about the therapeutic effect of laughter.

You already have ever heard of gelotology? This is the science that deals with laughter. Yes, laughter is so important that extra research is being done on it! According to Wikipedia, she deals with the physical and mental aspects of laughter. Founded in 1964, it is still a relatively young science.

You can laugh for a variety of reasons: simply because you're happy or because you've heard or seen something funny. But also out of embarrassment, because you have to react somehow and that in the friendliest way Art ist. It can be a sign of relief after a hardship, and it can simply be a sign of thanks or kindness to others.

There are also sayings or pictures with sayings to laugh about it countless many. They all serve to put a smile on the viewer's face - because it's just easier that way.

If you have some time left, maybe you have to be at home, then bake again! How about smiley cookies? We have a very simple recipe for you here:

Mix 500 g flour, 1 sachet baking powder, 125 g sugar, grated zest of a lemon, 1 sachet vanilla sugar, 1 pinch salt, 1 egg or egg substitute, 250 g margarine to form a smooth dough. Put the dough in the fridge for ½ hour, then roll out 0.5 cm thick and cut out biscuits. Bake at 200 degrees for 8-12 minutes. And then decorate fun - with a smile!

Let's use the recent Let's Smile Day to send a little smile into the world. This can be a smile at the crossroads when driving, at the checkout in the supermarket or just for yourself. With this in mind: stay healthy and laugh into the world. Maybe it will help...
