New country dot Saudi Arabia?
Perhaps one or the other geocacher with an affinity for the country has already noticed: Saudi Arabia has opened its doors to tourism a whole crack.
Up to now it was only possible to travel here privately with a personal invitation, but entry with an e-Visa has now become quite easy.
Since autumn last year, Saudi Arabia has been attracting visitors with the beauties of its country on the Red Sea. An excavation site, a "second Petra", is to be open to the public by October of this year, and the construction phase of the hotels has begun.
You can be sure that we are following this very closely and will be adding Saudi Arabia to our popular Jordan/Israel tour in 2021! Maybe we still have to place one or the other cache at sights ourselves, but maybe something will happen there even before we arrive. It's our turn!
